Please do not engage our Revenue Collection Agents in a conversation regarding our rates. Any discussion will potentially delay traffic flow for our other customers. If you feel that a toll has been collected in error, please visit our office or telephone us at the numbers on the CONTACT page. Please have your receipt available when you contact us. Failure to pay the posted and/or requested tolls will result in arrest by our Enforcement Agents.
Resident passes provide an inexpensive method of payment for our preferred customers, the year-round residents of Shelter Island. Resident passes, consisting of a front windshield sticker with magnetic stripe and a rear courtesy bumper sticker, are available at our toll-collection administrative offices during normal business hours. A Shelter Island Government “RESIDENT ID” card is required for all purchases of resident passes. NO EXCEPTIONS!
We are not affiliated with any ferry company, and do not offer any reciprocal agreements with them. All of our employees, when traveling on personal business, pay full tolls at all times.
